The Effect of Vocal Fry on Women's Voices

When it started to appear in women's voices in America seemed to correlate with the increasing number of women in broadcasting. The same feature that's studied in one different group can be found to be eloquent and educated and authoritative. But when we look at it in a group that tends to have social stereotypes about them more generally that don't have those qualities, we don't look at it the same way.
