The Importance of a Religious Education

My family was interfaith marriage bonanza, starting with my grandmother. We had a lot of choice if we wanted to be Hindu or Muslim or something else... Right. Was very accepting. But what about, do you receive kind of a classically religious education? Not at all. Do you feel about that? I think this would be a really interesting point of comparison. So in some ways, I feel not at all rooted in my culture, as it were. And in lots of ways, I wish I'd had more of a experience socially being rooted in my community.
