How to Be an Effective Software Tester

The idea of structural testing is let's use the structure of the program as a source of inspiration to write tests. You look at the NIF statements and then you think, well, I want to write a test that actually exercises that if statement. And maybe you can do this line by line, right, and then once you cover all the lines, you're done with your structural testing because you tested the structure in the way you want it. The main point of my book is that there's this hate in the industry about code coverage,. There are many reasons for this: It's very easy towrite a test that covers a lot of stuff, but the test is not so good.
