i think when the world trade center was bombed in two thousand and one, that was the last time that americans felt like the same country. There's a kind of dismemberment of our identification as people in this together. Just bail out wall street and give a bunch of businesses billions of dollars, and they'll figure out how to solve the problem. I mean, it's literally the most idiotic idea you cauld imagine. It's almost like fish don't know wateris wet. Like harriet said, we haven't really een educated about the last century of the various ways that economic policies have shifted in our lifetimes.
