CNN's John Defterios takes on the question of whether there were warning signs that Donald trump was a dangerous candidate. He says some outsiders can be good for democracy, but it does open the door to those who are frustrated with democratic politics and go on to attack it. The work of the january sixth committee has increasingly shown that there was a plan at the highest levels,. if not to overthrow the government through violent seizure of power and murder, but there was an attempt at least to block the counting of ballots in a way that would have handed the presidency to joe byden.
