Introduction
The work of London-based graphic designer Frasier-Buggeridge has been so interesting to me for the last 20 years. His work purposefully and sometimes obviously breaks the rules of what we call good graphic design, yet it does not feel experimental or postmodern at all. He'll purposefully mix up printing techniques or mix and match typefaces,. Sometimes within a single line of text. These interventions can be subtle, but they give a depth to the work that feels fresh in a world where so much visual design looks the same. We close the conversation talking about teaching and the role of teaching in his work and the ideas behind the Typography Summer School.
