David Bianculli: Walter Benjamin's on the concept of history is broken into 18 different paragraphs, each numbered. He says there are 18 different ideas that are connected but cohesion between them is difficult to really imagine. The text was written in 1940 before he died by suicide as he tried to flee the Nazis. In this week's show, David poses questions for people to answer and share their own thoughts about it.
