The Different Types of Ideas in a Mind
Theory of general relativity is expressed in a language that has rules and concepts. The pupil dilation gene isn't, it's a chemical pattern that results in other chemical and chemical reactions that have an effect. So the genes though, the pupil dilation Gene isn't semantic, so it's in explicit in that sense. It's not expressed in alanguage, there's no referencing, et cetera. There are all kinds of things being activated in the brain that are kind of like the pupil Dilation gene, they are not expressed in language, but they are as they are for a reason. They emerged to have that pattern through an interactive iteration of variation in selection.
