Beavers are an eco system engineer, they're a force nature. They can literally change the way whole river systems function by slowing down water. And then also ther as a climate ally, because of their ability to sequester carbon within their habitats. The mosaic of different sort of habitats are quite extraordinary in the way they soak up carbon and oveusly omit carbon simultaneously.
