The Impact of Fed Policy on Global Economy

The biggest impact we're seeing is a stronger and stronger dollar. A strong dollar helps reduce import prices and by extension broader inflation in the US. In other countries, they're importing inflation as their currency's weakened. That's exacerbating the inflationary impact of food and energy price shocks. There's also a negative impact of a stronger dollar for countries borrowing in US dollars.
