What Is Our Idol?
We're made to worship and cling to one thing, God, right? And it's sort of a question here of like, what is our idol? What do we cling to? The point of the devout life starts off with patience and humility. St. Augustine always repeats that God doesn't allow any, you know, like evil to come our way unless he can bring about through it or from it some good.
