monchavelli's question here is like the what's going to last? How can it last? Why is it why is it fragile? Or why is it strong? Em and i suppose the way that i see that crisis, like the kind of the broader frame of the crisis of democracy versus authoritarianism, or however people are framing it, is that the west has somehow lost a its own field for where the sources for its own renewal might come from. And unless they get some some sense of how to gain that source for renewal, they are ganend at being really fragile.
