The Path to the Tabernacle in Leviticus

In Leviticus, it's clear that first, well, maybe not even first, but early in the process, the animal is slaughtered. Only then are its blood and parts of its body taken to the various altars depending on the sacrifice. In Jewish sacrifice, everything depends on whether or not God will accept the gift. There is no magic here. Just read the prophets.
