How to Get a Family Member Out of a Conspiracy Theory

Conspiracy theories are self sealing logic, wherein if anyone tells you that you're wrong, they're part of the conspiracy. The way to get some one out of a conspiracy theory is pretty similar to the way to get them out ofa occult,. Don't ridicule them, certainly don't tell them that they're wrong. There's a wonderful phrase that i've heard attributed to dale carnegie, which is, you can't make people agree with you, but you can make them want to agree with you.
