Vicario parries a lot. It's almost installed into him that emply must do everything it can to not go out. I don't think any goal keeper would purposely parry back into danger rather than parry away from a corner because no matter how bad pressure are at corners which they are awful. The likelihood of conceding the goal from it being parried to the side or behind is less than it being parrying back into open play. And now instances last season against Napoli away where he parried a pretty weak shot back into Osenham to tap in and against Verona away. He parried a quite an easy shot from distance not from short range from distance
