The History of the Pontifical Birth Control Commission

Pope John the 23rd created a committee to discuss all of this. In their very first meeting, this birth control commission reaffirmed conclusions of Pope's Pius XI and the 12th. The late moral theologian Jermaine Grise actually worked behind the scenes to help one of the commission members defend the church's teaching.
