The Passion of Jesus
Jesus knew Judas would betray him, and that it would be a painful death. Jesus had lived a perfect life but chose to die to save people from the results of their sin. He pleaded with God: My Father, if it is possible, take this suffering away from me. The governor sentenced Jesus to death, death on a cross.
