Data Analyst, Data Scientist and Data Engineer - What's the Difference?

There is a blurred distinction between the extent to which we have just raw data on the one hand and then we're starting to analyze and think about that data on the other. So if you talk about some of the metrics that might exist, something like expected goals and expected assists, those models are going to get deeper and better as the data gets richer as well. But when I'm grouping myself within one of those, I'd say more or less my roles as a data scientist whose job is to translate that data into insights. That's it.
