The Importance of Being a Zen Kid
My parents were part of a Zen center. The first, I think the first Zen center in the States in Rochester. They split up and my mom took me to the Satya Dhananda ashram in Connecticut. He was the guy who gave the opening speech at Woodstock. People just lived on the property all year round. And he believed as much as a kid can believe for sure.
