"I think the kind of boringness of the good scenes is a really welcome antidote to the evil of the evil people," she says. "The mystery at the heart of goodness is actually, I think, portrayed pretty darn well in the household at St. Anne's." She adds that Belbury seems like Fellini but nightmarish: "It's such a turn off kind of that ... It's fascinating to witness in a way, but it doesn't draw you in".
