What Does It Mean for a Galaxie to Die?
i put the question to tim davies from cardiff university. How is it that a galaxy can actually die? Oknow, stop forming stars and end that process. So there's a whole variety of ways. It all comes down to one thing, and that do they have gas left in these galaxies? Ecause gas is the fuel from which new stars form. And so you have to look at processes that are going to affect that gas.
