Eddie Vetter's Memoirs

Vetter recorded his demo on an old Merle-Haggard cassette, wrote for Stone and Jeff on the tape. The band was looked down on for a few reasons, including their explicit pursuit of stadium rock stardom. With Dave Grohl splitting up with drummer Chad Channing, Pearl Jam went back to Vig's recording studio in Wisconsin. In 1998 they released a song called Sliver that is more like the sound Cobain had been going for after Bleach.
