Getting a PI Job, Making New Collaborator
The fancy university, the whatever local comparisons is the Ivy League that we have. Yes. The way that works a lot of the time, and I've seen it happen, is that when people are going on market, they have a supportive environment of talented people who have done this before. At that point in time, they acquire a new set of responsibility, which is basically get grad student job, make new collaborator. And within the small club, things have a tendency to work out.
