Clement's Letter to the Corinthians

Clement I, the fourth bishop of Rome, knew the Old Testament well. He was working to formulate the new religions' creeds and keep its novel congregations in order. His ideology is entirely in step with slightly earlier Christian scriptures that make up the New Testament. Clement discusses the important dichotomy between salvation by faith and salvation by good works.
