Training a Skill or a Technique?
When you modify something in a technique, you're likely to have a performance regression for a period of time. We have to be conscious of that when the players are the athletes that we're working with. It's not just elite. I think, you know, your mid handicap golfer that may come to you is really tasking. And does that technique need to change? Because there's an investment, a time required there. If they do have the fundamental basics, then actually then maybe some variability of practice or variability are on those basics so that they're able to achieve that skill more successfully.
