The Java Closure Script Compiler Doesn't Need Type Inference at All.
Closure script has its own notion of what is truthy and what's falsey. And that right the semantics of that don't map directly to JavaScript. In particular where it goes wrong is if you if you take like the number zero closure script zero is is truthy. But in JavaScript it's false. Mike: So, fundamentally, you don't need type inference at all. It's not necessary to make the language work.
