Is There Too Much Carbon Di Oxide in the Air?
Air that we breathe in has something like 20% oxygen and a fraction of % carbon dioxide. Air that we breathe out has slightly less oxygen and slightly more carbon dioxide. It doesn't actually change the percentage very much, it depends on how deeply you're breathing. Exhaled air comite into hel ther. If carmond oxide builds up too much in the surrounding air that we're breathing in, then we're not able to removecarbon di oxide rapidly enough. This can cause rapid problems such as acidosis of the blood.
