The Idea of Time Being a Circle
In the indigenous view, time is understood not as a river but as a lake or maybe an ocean in which all things that ever have been and ever will be are resident. All things are happening and connected to one another in a circular and a filigree really of interrelationships - counter to way scientific worldview deems it linear. That notion of time being a circle means of course the unawareness of recurring patterns, recurring opportunities to learn.
