Even in the prophetic literature, you have kind of already an early theologizing about the delay of the accomplishing the finishing out of Deuteronomy 28 through 30. It's not something that all of a sudden is introduced with two comings of the Messiah. And so even in, you know, the prophetic tradition like Ezekiel 12, 22 son of man, what is this proverb that you have about the land of Israel saying the days grow long and every vision comes to nothing? This is commonly understood within this way of approaching the oracles of God.
