The Importance of Presumption of Confidence

The presumption of confidence I think is very difficult for a lot of people to get there for them to get their head around. Our child has the same human rights as every other child on the planet and when we've got a child with a disability, it can often feel like we're running an ultramarathon. The way that you feel as a parent is going to impact the way that you interact with the people that are supporting your child. If we can be that positive, vibrant, upbeat person, even when times are tough...you've got a little bit of that resilience because you've looked after yourself.
