The Importance of Regional Politics in Ontario

I think that politically it was absolutely the right choice to step in and save this. The feds threw themselves a ticker tape parade for getting this done when it was not actually in fact done. So I don't think they had a lot of choice here. But one of the other things that we have to watch long term on this politically is when these kinds of checks are cut, you can't just cut the check and hope for the best,. There's not a great history of that even within the auto sector. They could turn it into a little bit of a virtue. Right now, there's an opportunity there for the feds to tell a much better story about what they're being forced
