The Russian Military's Corruption
Hamish MacKinnon: I'm just rising up at the moment is corruption in Russia and that Russian military. James Kilmer wrote a piece today about the Russian commander arrested for selling tank engines. Colonel Alexander Desioth accused of selling tea, 90 engines on the black market. It strikes me that if the Russians have lost 2,000 tanks already, we know that the maintenance and everything else is desperately poor. They are static cool boxes because they don't have any engines.
