The only time that golf club can influence the golf ball is when they're too polite, too commit to contact. It's so easy to be distracted by all this fancy stuff about what you're shallow following the club in the downswing and supination and pronation and ground reaction forces. But unless you have clarity of intention, and you can actually visualize that shot before you hit it, the likelihood of creating that shot is pretty slim.
