How to Raise Capital Correctly and Legally

I see people on LinkedIn and social media trying to raise money. It makes me feel a little icky with some of the tactics that are being used. I've heard from, I don't know the ins and outs of the legalities of raising capital. Can you talk through some of the requirements? We're actually a CoGP as well. There's gray area when it comes to all of this. You just have to decide what level of risk you're comfortable with and your attorney.
