The Blank Slate Model

Even in the nineties, even in the eighties, the whole idea of political correctness corrupting the social sciences was pretty prominent. But i guess what has surprised me is the sensoriousness of the left. That it wasn't that we should debate these ideas and show why they're wrong. It's that these ideas should not even be spoken of,. almost as if the words themselves were totemic. These ideas should never ever be discussed and put in the market place of ideas to be refuted.
