Wages for Housework: A Feminist Perspective

This chapter examines the wages for housework movement of the 1970s, emphasizing the need to recognize domestic labor as legitimate work within a capitalist framework. It discusses the exploitation of women and the socio-economic conditions that have historically undervalued housework, alongside proposals for fair compensation.
