The Battle of Hoennlohwa

Hoennlohwa sent messengers west to General Ruckel, begging him to bring his 15,000 men to the battlefield as quickly as possible. He had no clue when Ruckel would arrive, or if he would arrive at all. Meanwhile, with each passing minute, the French gained more ground. Their bridge had grew larger, and more French troops arrived. By noon, Napoleon's forces were probably nearing 100,000 men. Most recent arrivals were Marshal Ney's 6th Corps. With an abrupt arrival of this huge force on their right flank, the Prussian line was suddenly beginning to look very short,. dangerously outnumbered and isolated.
