Breathing through the nose was intended to be used as your breathing apparatus. The abdominal diaphragmatic breathing laterally out and in really encourages good gas exchange, which helps everything else that we've talked about in terms of bringing people into function. It also helps to a massage the vaguest nerve, which runs right through the diaphragm. And so it has this camming effect on the nervous system, which has a common effect on the mind. So i can of do this progression a that helps people, when they're more grounded in their body, to also not feel so panicky with the idea of breathing less.
