Hippolyte has this book called Logic and Existence. It's a book on Hegel, but asks like how we can use logic to understand existence. And from his point of view, Leibniz tries to extend the principle of identity into understanding existence. That's what he's going to live this up to in these early writings hovering around difference in repetition.
