At first, it's really hard to reconstruct or recategorize your experience as something other than shame or guilt. But the point is, it does get easier. And eventually, what happens is your brain starts to predict am and when your brain is making a prediction, it doesn't make itself aware of its predictions. It's not like, you know, i have a choice to be full of shame, or i've achoice to be laughing in amusement. Which one i'm i going to choose?
