Is Dynamic Linking a Good Idea for a Package Management Solution?

I want to draw a distinction when I'm talking about dynamic linking in this context I specifically mean as like the foundation for your package management solution. So have you gotten to do any actual web dev work at Oxide or are you even interested in that? It's like there's certain ways in which there's a simplicity to embedded stuff that ironically is much easier than web development. You can just in Ruby you can just like require a dynamically linked library and it's like like compiled C code or in our case like compiled rock code and Ruby can just call that.
