Mark Smith: It was disheartening to hear Jeff summing up the old mantra, but flight comparison websites are way cheaper. Jenny continues, yes, sometimes it is cheaper to fly, but you don't get the same experience and there's the environmental impact. Finally, this is from Jenny Lockwood who says, today's episode was a welcome positive view of the environmental and personal value of long-distance rail travel.
