Some some thinkers are sort of contrarian by their nature, right? And being a contrarian is kind of part of their brand. If they were found too much to cohere and agree with a group of people too much, they would think they had betrayed that principle. I identify with that last one in that you have to be disagreeing with people in order to get them to refute you. But the idea that's the thing that's weird is the people who want to combine defiance with being an activist like you. So that's a that's an that's an odd collocation of of motivations.
