Energy Is Ruling the Bond Market
Part of this entire crisis in the UK was born of one thing, leverage. The pension funds were levered to get higher returns. That's it. So here they want to blame everybody for a tax cut. It will blame that. No, if there was no leverage in the pension funds that are trying to get a higher return, you wouldn't have any issue. Four months ago or five months ago, that same announcement would not have had that impact probably on the bond market over there. And so I think what this is telling me is that energy is ruling the bond market and they can’t get energy down. What does that mean? Energy is ruling the Bond Market!
