Corator Crabs

Decorator crabs are animals that live in symbiotic relationships with many different kinds of sessile organisms by attaching those organisms to their exo skeletons. They do this by hooking these other organisms on to little bristles on its exo skeleton called setti s e t a e, which i have seen compared to velcro. So this might be a sort of natural precedent for forvelcro technology.
