Do You Have a Common Enemy in the DBT Analytics Market?
The first time I and many folks like me had access to a column oriented database was with Redshift in late 2012, early 2013. It created this perception that the column store database was actually harder to build. But my guess is that that's not actually what was going on. The real like commercial use case only arose for the data warehouse in the 90s with cataloging and customer analytics. So is it just that the commercial use case came a little bit later?
