The Importance of Testing

I find testing is not only to see the range of a camera and then you obviously test the look of the movie you're working on, lens lengths and all that. But it's also to work together. For instance, when we did our tests in Blade Runner, that was really important because there was a lot of Hungarian people we really didn't know. We were all trying to learn a new language. It did not succeed at all. Josh had a few Hungarian words down, I didn't. Again, every show is so such a treat, but Blade Runner specifically was lovely because of the sense that we were in a totally different country where we really knew nothing.
