Investing in a Government Bond or a Bond ETF?
The interest rates are essentially considered the risk-free rate. What can you get? And this is where how things are priced in the discount rate side. This week, ANZ just did a 15-year bond issue at five and a quarter. That's pretty close to risk-free. Yep. So if you're in doubt, do a bit of both. I've just got my mortgage principal in interest and I invest. That's what I'm comfortable with.
