The Fat Cell and Insulin Resistance

The body has an ideal amount of fat storage above which when the threshold is surpassed, now the body starts to become insulin resistant. Triglycerides are metabolically inert and do not cause insulin resistance. The problem with that kind of lipotoxicity, ectopic fat storage idea is that when we store the fat in other tissues, we store it as triglycerides.
