The Importance of Patient Data Sharing
NHS is happy to send our data to third party organisations for research. But we can't put all our data together within an ICS without huge amount of Ig activity, which is valid, but you get blocked. It just sometimes seems the use of it seems to run out of control and that we don't have control of that data. We give pharmacy slips to patients to collect their prescription. Once if the patient gives the Chitty in, we'll go to NHS services, but I can't have the data back from then because it contains patient information on my patients. And that to me seems crazy.
